Ladies:
I just discovered this site! I don't know that I'll blog a lot but I just wanted to pass along a book recommendation to fellow Stay at Home Moms. The book is called The Stay at Home Survival Guide: Field tested strategies for staying smart, sane and connect while caring for your kids. I picked it up at the Barnes & Noble in Savannah (at the Oglethorpe Mall) earlier this week and am LOVING it. The author, Melissa Stanton, was coming to store for a signing (I didn't see her) so the book was on a special display. She's a stay at home mother of three (including twins) and totally knows how hard it can be to be a stay at home mom. I'm reading this book and shouting, "Exactly!" It's such a good book for anyone who is feeling lonely or bored being at home sometimes, even though she wants to be home caring for her kids. I have two children, three and under. This book is making me feel less like a freak for sometimes wanting to pull my hair out from caring for kids all the time. The book talks about how stay at home motherhood is a job and like paid working person we need time off from work. If you want to learn about the book go to her website at www.stayathomesurvivalguide.com. There are reviews their from other mom bloggers. Bye for now!
